Venue: “Mässhallen” at the Brewery Conference Centre, Torkel Knutssonsgatan 2, Stockholm

Organizer: Swedish Government Officies

Inspirational Session II will take its starting point in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations and provide an inspirational interpretation of what this could and should mean for the Baltic Sea Region, and what role can be played by the macro-region and its stakeholders. We will hear input from an EU perspective in view of the development of new EU policies and financial programmes for the next decade. A panel discussion will give input to the questions of what the different stakeholders, public and private, should address, what measures are most relevant to take on a macro-regional level and how can the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region develop to support desired development.
