Energy union – practical solutions for sustainable energy market development

Time: 14:00-14:50

Venue: Arkaden

The workshop is aimed to facilitate the implementation of Policy Area (PA) Energy objectives in the areas of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources through a bottom-up approach. Goals of the workshop: share best practice examples to be used in projects around the Baltic Sea as encouragement for other projects.

The workshop aims to present the possibilities for the practical implementation within the PA Energy Action Plan. In the introduction, the Policy Area Coordinator for Energy will explain the importance and necessity of the regional energy cooperation and coordination in the field of renewable energy sources (RES) and energy management. Different financing programmes and collaboration options for projects will also be presented. The introduction will be followed by presentations of projects that are practically implementing the RES fostering solutions.
How can municipalities/stakeholders benefit from energy efficiency and/or RES projects? Examples promote the implementation of activities in other parts of the region and increase information exchange.
